Puppy Club

We are specialists in puppy training and development, and our service offers much more than the usual puppy visiting. Please find some information below on how our Puppy Club services work.

One-To-One Puppy Training Service:

We work with you and your puppy in your home and out and about to develop a personalised, detailed training plan working on all areas of puppy development, from 8 weeks old right up to teenage years and early adulthood. Training and planning can begin from before your puppy even arrives home. With a consultation to get you set up on the right foot from the very start, with things like puppy-proofing your home and getting prepared with all the necessary training tools you will need in the upcoming months.

A One hour training session is £45, blocks of five sessions can be booked for £40 each.

Puppy Care Club

We understand that as much as you'd love to, you won't always be able to stay with your puppy. We have developed a puppy care plan that suits your puppy's needs and temperament and continues your training methods while you are away. We provide you with detailed, daily reports about the training we do and adapt the training programme where necessary. We can include such areas as; bite inhibition, introductions to dogs, adults and children, teaching your dog to walk on a loose lead, encouraging your dog not to jump up at people, and much more. This service is for puppies from when they arrive in your home, up to around 6 months of age. After this, your puppy can join our dog walking service.

'Puppy Care Club' visits last one hour and are arranged at a set time (allowing for traffic etc). There will be more than one carer for your puppy, so that if someone is away, a bond has already been developed with someone else. For the first couple of weeks we will, as much as possible, arrange for the same carer to attend your puppy, as this will help to develop a routine and build your puppy’s confidence about people coming in to the home to care for him/her.

This service is for owners who require our help at least three days of the week. The service is offered Monday to Friday only. More than one visit a day can be arranged, and is recommended, especially if your puppy is very young.

For one visit per day, the charge is £30. For a second half hour visit, we add £18.

When your puppy reaches around 6 months of age, we begin taking them out for socialisation walks. This is where we would meet up with one of my walkers to slowly introduce your puppy to dogs that we know and trust to give good experiences to little ones. Your puppy will then gradually move on to group walks from there. The charge for our group walks is £18.

How We Operate:

Each month we send you a blank schedule and agree, in advance, your requirements, based on a minimum of three days per week. This ensures we can plan our team of dog carers and provide the service you expect. Invoicing is on a monthly basis and payment is required five days after receipt of invoice.

Insurance Matters:

We are fully insured for Public Liability, Care, Custody & Control as well as professional indemnity. Our policy is from Petplan Sanctuary.

The next step:

We require an introductory meeting to visit you and your puppy in your home and agree a plan for your puppy. We will also need to collect two sets of door keys at this meeting. One set is kept as a 'master set' and the other is with the puppycarer. At our visit, we will also run through all issues relating to the care of your puppy and your household.

I hope this answers any initial questions you may have, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Ayden
